A student-run strictly editorial publication. It provides the entire Hun community with the ability of self-expression through writing, as well as educational and interesting editorials. Most importantly, it challenges its participants and readers to question, think, and act.
Question. Everything in your life. What you do, what others around you do. Where will you find a place where you belong? Where will you find happiness? How did the world get to be the way it is? Why are things the way they are, what do you need to do to change them?
Think. About the world. About why you're here. About what you want to do. About why you want to do it. About putting your name on the line. About why you are sitting here right now searching for something more.
Write.
For more in-depth information about The Quill, read our Code. The Quill's Code was written by co-founder, writer, and editor Lindsay Jacob, and thoroughly explains how the publication is created and run. Choose the "Quill Code" link at the top of this page.
The Quill exists in order to provide the Hun School community with an editorial paper. On the top of the page lies the phrase "The Hun Community's Official Soapbox since 2004." A Soapbox is traditionally used to stand on in order to express one's opinion. The Quill, as an editorial publication, is just that. It wishes to provide Hun students with an opportunity to express their thoughts, and to inspire its readers to critically think about various issues.
